easy return
Whether your order is not 100% satisfied, or unfortunately it is defective, Clifton Cameras strives to make the return process easy and hassle-free. Below is the form Clifton Cameras asks you to complete to help expedite and process Clifton Cameras returns. Please read the following Clifton Cameras terms and conditions before you complete the form;

Right of cancellation and return
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from placing the order to receiving the goods. This is the cooling off period. All cancellations must be made by telephone on 01453 548128 and confirmed in writing within 14 days of receipt of the goods, stating your order number and postcode. Clifton Cameras will then provide you with the cancellation number associated with your order for your reference. Any goods received that are not cancelled in this way will not be processed during the cooling-off period.
The 14-day cooling-off period is not a “try before you buy” period. Any product returned to Clifton Cameras during the cooling-off period must meet the requirements listed in Section 4.3.
In the event that Clifton Cameras provides you with goods, you must take reasonable custody of the goods in your possession pending their return to Clifton Cameras. Clifton Cameras will only accept returns in their original packaging with no signs of wear and tear. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, any use of delivered goods beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods upon delivery will void your right to cancel the contract, or may be subject to restocking charges. When evaluating a camera, you agree to keep shutter drive (photos taken) to an absolute minimum. Since shutter actuation is measurable, overactuated products are not considered new. Clifton Cameras believes that more than 30 shutter drives is more than you need to fairly inspect the item during the cooling-off period, in which case Clifton Cameras reserves the right to charge a restocking fee.
If Clifton Cameras has provided you with merchandise, these must be returned to Clifton Cameras Ltd, Returns Department, Unit 12 Brunel Court, Waterwells Business Park, Quedgeley, Gloucestershire, GL2 2AL, or available for collection by Clifton Cameras. Return fees are non-refundable and direct charges will be deducted from the refund if Clifton Cameras picks up the item. If an item is deemed defective upon arrival, Clifton Cameras will reimburse up to £10 for return shipping, or provide advice on picking it up from you. Any charges above this amount will need to be pre-authorized by Clifton Cameras prior to sending. When returning shipments to Clifton Cameras, Clifton Cameras recommends using an insured and traceable service and requires Clifton Cameras to sign for the package upon receipt.
Software Returns – Software, memory cards and flash drives can only be returned unopened and in their original packaging. This policy is designed to avoid any possible violation of the Copyright Notices and Patents Act 1988 (CDPA). All open software is exempt from returns under the terms of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Software, memory cards or flash drives that arrive damaged or physically damaged. Defective products may be returned in accordance with Clifton Cameras’ normal return policy.
Upon receipt of your written cancellation notice, Clifton Cameras will refund the contract price to the debit/credit card or Paypal account you used to purchase the item. This will be done within 30 days from the date of cancellation. When funds are used for a purchase, Clifton Cameras will cancel your contract with the financing provider, who will refund any deposit paid to them. Please review your application terms or contact your financial provider for more information.
If an item purchased from Clifton Cameras is faulty or defective, you should contact Clifton Cameras immediately to report the problem. All reported failures require evaluation by Clifton Cameras and, in some cases, the manufacturer or service agent. Clifton Cameras cannot always provide a time frame for evaluation and/or work if goods must be returned to the manufacturer or repair agent.
Depending on the circumstances, the customer may be required to pay the cost of returning the goods to Clifton Cameras for evaluation within the warranty period. Each reported failure will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Malfunction or damage believed to be caused by misuse or accidental damage will not be covered by the terms of the warranty, and the cost of evaluating and repairing the product in these cases will be the customer’s expense.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
