The Stand is a famous online comedy club based in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle. Here you can keep up to date with the latest events and book tickets in advance quickly and easily. You can enjoy Christmas specials, Michael Redmond’s Sunday service and Martin Mor’s fun stuff for happy people. Whether you want to enjoy private leisure time or the company of family or friends, The Stand is worth your visit. In addition, it offers a variety of delicious foods, such as hot grilled sandwiches, which you can easily enter through the stairs at the front of the building and are in good condition.
Booking and time
-All tickets provide bubble seats. Untenable!
-The Stand Comedy Club does not accept groups of more than 6 people.

-Only 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 tickets can be booked, and each bubble must be socially distancing from other bubbles in the venue. This is a British law. If The Stand Comedy Club believes that the booking does not meet the restrictions, The Stand Comedy Club reserves the right to refuse entry. For complete government guidelines, click here.
-Tickets can only be booked in advance at this time. No other number of tickets are available for booking. Tickets cannot be purchased on site or on the day of the event.
-The total ticket price for 2 booking bubbles is GBP XX and the total ticket price for 3 booking bubbles is GBP XX-The total ticket price for 4 booking bubbles is GBP XX. Booking fees apply. Postage is not available.
-All activities are without tickets. Tickets are not posted or distributed on the day, and The Stand Comedy Club operates a guest list input system. Tickets are not transferable, as the ID can be checked to ensure that the collected tickets match the reservation name.
-In rare cases, if the show exceeds the current curfew at 10 pm, DCMS has confirmed that it is legal to continue the show. The live performance does not need to end before 10pm. Alcoholic beverages cannot be served after 10pm. All Stand Comedy Club performances are scheduled to end before 10pm.
-The event takes place in the lower room of the main venue (just like the good old days). The total number of tickets for Newcastle is 94, Glasgow is 90, and Edinburgh is 64.
-A one-way system will be operated when possible.
-After a successful booking, a member of the team will call you 3 days before the activity you choose and confirm your convenient arrival time. This way The Stand Comedy Club can stagger the arrival time, allow a safe distance and stop overcrowding. The Stand Comedy Club requires that all members of your booking party must arrive at the same time to help solve this problem.

Before booking and entering the venue, The Stand Comedy Club will ask you to consider issues

-In the past 14 days, have any members of your party showed signs of illness?
-In the past 14 days, has any member of your party in their family or social circle been with someone who has symptoms of coronavirus?
-In the past 14 days, have any members of your party put themselves at significant risk of contracting the coronavirus?
Please note: If any of the answers to the questions are wrong, The Stand Comedy Club strongly recommends that you do not make a reservation as a refund may not be provided.

For your performance
-As part of the testing and tracking plan, all participants will be required to register upon arrival and leave contact details upon entry. This is a mandatory English law.
-In England, use the NHS COVID-19 app to record check-in details on arrival, and scan the QR code of The Stand Comedy Club venue on arrival (Download on Apple Store | Download on Android Play Store). Or-as it will be used in Scotland-the paper version can also be used to collect names, emails and phone numbers.
-For paper contract tracking, a separate guest list page is provided for each party, and all members are recorded together to separate your details from other bookings and ensure security. At the same time, The Stand Comedy Club also complies with the GDPR.
-According to British law, any political party members who cannot provide contact information will be denied entry.
-A brief 4 question check and this information will be asked upon entry. If any of the answers to the questions are wrong, The Stand Comedy Club will not be able to let you in and will not be able to provide a refund. Please refer to the questions above, which will be asked and checked on your personal contact page before you enter.
-21 days after your visit, all the information you obtained at the time of booking registration will be safely stored and destroyed.
-The temperature of each participant will also be checked.

During the performance
-Encourage all guests to bring and wear their own masks. Masks will be provided to those who have forgotten. According to the England/Scotland Public Health Guidelines, this is mandatory for places like The Stand Comedy Club. The Stand Comedy Club knows that this might make you uncomfortable, but The Stand Comedy Club is really committed to creating an environment as safe as possible.
-Drinks table service will be provided, you can order from the happy bar team of The Stand Comedy Club upon arrival.
-Contactless/card payment only-No cash. The Stand Comedy Club wants you to have a good time in the booking bubble and stop overcrowded areas to make your visit as safe as possible.
-Most importantly-watch a live comedy show with your friends or family in a safe environment!
-After the performance, the team will ask customers to leave at a staggered time to maintain a safe social distance.

Your safety
-Each participant will undergo a temperature check upon entry.
-Hand sanitizers are available throughout the venue for your use.
-The staff will clean the contact points regularly throughout the event. Contact points can include, but are not limited to, handles, rails, and card machines.
-Toilet facilities will also be cleaned during business hours.
-Please follow the staff’s suggestions and systems to help maintain safe social distancing.
-All staff will wear masks and gloves when serving you.
-The Stand Comedy Club encourages all guests to bring and wear their own face masks. Masks will also be provided for those who have forgotten. Face masks must be worn in places like The Stand Comedy Club.
-Operational risk assessment including employees and guests has been completed. This will be reviewed regularly based on government recommendations and the England/Scotland Public Health Department.
-Please respect the staff of The Stand Comedy Club, as their job is to keep everyone as safe as possible during your visit.

If you need to change your reservation, The Stand Comedy Club cannot refund a single ticket for the reservation bubble. If you think your team member needs to cancel, The Stand Comedy Club recommends that you do not make a reservation. Refunds are not guaranteed. Refunds are determined by the company and notified 5 working days in advance. If accepted, these booking refunds will only apply to the entire booking bubble and not to a single ticket.
